WORLD ANAESTHESIA DAY

On October 16th, 1846 William T.G. Morgan successfully demonstrated the use of ether anaesthesia in Boston/Massachusetts. This milestone of modern anaesthesia is celebrated every year on #WorldAnaesthesiaDay2022 to highlight the inequalities existing concerning access to safe anaesthesia care.
WORLD TRAUMA DAY

The scarcity of basics provisions such as electricity and water are a major hurdle to trauma care and healthcare in general. Mobilizing stakeholders and global surgery advocates to a larger access to basic amenities in LMIC has never been more urgent.
