InciSioN against Female Genital Mutilation
People were encouraged to sign the petition and advocate for stricter laws, improved education and better access to care. The campaign aimed to mobilize support and drive change, highlighting the collective effort needed to make a difference in the fight against FGM.

InciSioN against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is a powerful campaign aimed at raising awareness about the human rights violations and severe gender-based violence associated with FGM.
Last year, we set up an information booth where we also sold cookies and mocktails, with the proceeds going to GAMS. GAMS Belgium vzw is an organization dedicated to combating female genital mutilation (and other forms of gender-based violence).
This year, the initiative continued with a strong message emphasizing that no woman should suffer pain in the name of tradition.
